On Jan. 13th through Jan.15th, 2012 the “Fifth Annual Global Chinese Entrepreneurs Forum” was solemnly convened at Diao Yu Tai State Guesthouse. This grand event is sponsored by China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT). The attendees for this event included leaders of the State Department of China, National People's Congress (NPC) and Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC). Also many prominent economists and hundreds of affluent business men and women from around the world attended this annual meeting.
In the opening ceremony, Chairman of Athena Technologies Inc,John Gong (Vice President of China Economic Trading Promotion Agency and Chairman for its U.S. branch), on behalf of entrepreneurs, presented an inspiring speech. During this presentation, he introduced our eAthena Technologies international trade platform roles and functions. All the entrepreneurs expressed great interest in Athena’s trade platform, especially small and medium sized companies (SMEs). They believe our trade platform will be highly conductive to promote China-U.S. trade relations and collaboration after a U.S. economic recovery. Under the pressure of domestic demands in China and the appreciation of the RMB against the U.S. dollar, this is an excellent time and suitable platform for China’s SMEs to immerse into the global economy. Effectively, these SMEs can now represent their brand and promote their products.
John Gong had conversations with many SMEs after his speech. He was commended on his detailed services of the international trade platform. Because there are many potential export problems such as language barriers, cultural differences, complicated distributions channels, and brand reputation that hinder the process of product promotion to the U.S. market. But now our multi-business approach and trade platform will resolve these obstacles and challenges. Leaders of the Chinese government and economic analysts also commended that our platform is a breakthrough and bridge that it will be more effective to facilitate Chinese enterprises entering into the global economy.
Furthermore, other notable speakers to promote China-US trade relations that were in attendance are Cheng Si-Wei (Vice Chairman of Standing Committee of the Tenth National People's Congress), Liu Ji (Director of China national situation investigation & research committee) and Liu Huan (Director of Bureau of Industry Injury Investigation).
