Mr. John Gong, Chairman of Athena Technologies, was invited to meet with Guixian Wu, China’s first female Vice-Premier, in Beijing.
Ms. Guixian Wu was born in 1938, and was the member of the 9th to 11th Central Committee of China’s Communist Party (CPC), and also the alternate member of the 10th Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee. In 1975, Wu was elected Vice-Premier at the 4th National People’s Congress First meeting, and became China’s first female Vice-Premier. Wu graduated from Northwest University, China. Afterwards, she was the group leader of the party cell of “Zhao Mengtao Group”, the national advanced textile group, and was awarded as high-performing workers in a row. She was also once elected National Model Worker. In June 1981, Vice-Premier Wu was appointed as the Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee of the Northwest National Cotton No. 1 Factory.
Athena Technologies visited the northern of China
On July 15, 2013, under the invitation of Tianjin Beichen District Government and Hebei Laoting county government, Mr. John Gong, chairman of Athena Technologies Inc., president of ICP DAS USA INC., Vice Chief Director of China Council for Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and China Economic Trading Promotion Agency arrived in Beijing for a four-day inspection of China-US investment projects trip.
During this trip, Mr. John Gong has visited Beijing Automotive Group, Tianjin Beichen District, Hebei Laoting County, Tianjin TASLY Pharmaceutical CO.LTD, and other governments and enterprises. They all extended a warm welcome to his visit. Mr. John Gong put forward his opinions and suggestions on China-US economic and trade cooperation, and the relations of mutually beneficial developments.

May 17th, 2013, Mr. John Gong, Chairman of Athena Technologies Inc. received the a trade group from US Wuxi Chamber of Commerce and Wuxi Chinese Overseas Friendship Association in Los Angeles, USA.
Mr. John Gong was hired as a consultant in US Wuxi Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Derong Chen, Wuxi Municipal Committee and Minister of the United Front Department, granted the certificate of Appointment to John Gong.
Athena Technologies Inc. cooperation intention with Laoting of Hebei Province
Laoting New Area is located along the southeastern coast of Tangshan City, Hebei Province, in the heart of the Bohai Bay and adjacent to Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei. It comprises Laoting Country and Tangshan Seaport Economic Development Zone. It has 1,308 square kilometers of land, 2,000 square kilometers of shallow sea area, and 124.9 square kilometers of coastal line.
Since the establishment if Tangshan Seaport Economic Development Zone in 1993, infrastructures investment more than 10 billion RMB and fixed assets investment more than 100 billion RMB have been finished. Large famous domestic companies like Datang International Power Generation Co.,Ltd and the world’s top 500 enterprises such as Thyssenkrupp Co., Ltd of Germany have invested in the zone.
